Continuing relief in New Orleans
As it could take 5 to 10 years before New Orleans will be back to pre-Katrina status we feel the need to continue our help in the recovery and rebuilding effort. We will continue to help families rebuild so that they can get out of cramped FEMA trailers and move back into their homes as soon as possible.
May - July 2008
OnSite Relief has acquired a historical home in New Orleans in order to become a permanent organization in the city. We need your help to restore this run down property to be able to use it as our office and to house volunteers.
January - March 2008
Helping families get back home
For these 3 months we helped many families get back into their homes. Many of the families helped had been taken for thousands of dollars by contractors that did not complete work they were paid to do. We would like to thank all of our volunteers and those that generously donated to our cause. Without people like you this would not be possible.
February 2007
Clearing & gutting homes in New Orleans
For the month of February 2007 our team worked along side another organization in the recovery effort in New Orleans. The task of gutting flooded houses was our main objective but restoring hope to a devastated community was a more then rewarding bonus. We had the opportunity to personally speak with some of the residents whose houses we gutted and felt the deepest appreciation we brought them. In total we completed just under 20 homes during our month long stay.
We are open to your thoughts and feedback regarding the projects we run. Should you have an idea for a project please feel free to complete the suggest a project form. |
